18 pre-made character sheets for Dolmenwood

Hey folks, Let me share these pre-made character sheets with you. They can be useful if you, like me, need to organise a one-shot but they can be handy as well if one of your characters dies and the player does not have a secondary sheet ready to go. There are 8 humans, 3 Breggles, 3 Mosslings, 2 Woodgues, 1 Elf and 1 Grimalkin for a total of 18 sheets, 2 for each class. A couple of notes: The distances are expressed in Goblin Grasps (Symbol: *), my native Dolmenwood measurement unit; 1 Goblin Grasp is 1.5 meters or 5 feet, aka 1 square in most dungeon grids. The sets of attributes have been randomly rolled, but I picked for each class a set with a +1 or +2 bonus in their specific prime abilities and I made sure to use sets with a cumulative bonus of +1 or +2. The characters are going to be used for a Winter's Daughter One shot, therefore abilities that are not likely to enter into play (like the knight Horsemanship) are not listed. Deep Carbon Observatory Adventure log - Introduction

I'm currently running Patric Stuart's Deep Carbon Observatory for my in-person group in Dundee, Scotland - see my review here . We're using the Dolmenwood ruleset with a handful of house tweaks; you can find our House Rules document here . Our table has seven regular players plus an additional intermittent player. Of the eight, two are new to OSR gaming, and one is completely new to TTRPGs. Before diving into DCO, we ran four sessions of a slightly hacked version of Tomb of the Serpent Kings, an excellent introductory module you can download here . This helped the group learn the system and pick up a level before the main adventure. We've just completed session 11. This is one of the most interesting TTRPG modules I have ever run. Foundational. It will give you a new perspective on what an adventure can and should be. Chadwick began suspended in mid-air beneath the bridge of the Observatory, spending about half an hour casting ritual spells. By the end of this preparation, he had made himself invisible, gained the ability to fly, and could see in the dark. With these advantages, he descended the vast distance toward the dark sea below. ITA - La geografia mutevole delle Variabilande ed i loro abitanti

Nelle terre variabili le cose rimangono stabili solo fin tanto che qualcuno le osserva. Mappare la geografia variabile di queste terre è impossibile. Dove ieri c’era un fiume oggi ci può essere una montagna. I luoghi visitati non scompaiono nel nulla, sono solo da qualche altra parte. Se i giocatori alterano l’ambiente (per esempio costruiscono una casa) potrebbero imbattersi in seguito nella modifica fatta. Ai margini delle variabilande le cose sono piuttosto convenzionali ma, più ci si inoltra, e più alta è la possibilità di trovare features e creature anomale. Alcune piante ed animali hanno proprietà anomale/magiche che possono essere sfruttate se adeguatamente trattate. In game la cosa può essere rappresentata con una lista ti luoghi in una tabella d100 casuale, con entrate convenzionali in cima e voci sempre più strambe mano amano che si scende.
